Oh my god, please no.

Warframe is one of the few remaining areas of pop culture where some stupid Marvel iteration hasn't taken over. There's no way they'd be able to restrain themselves from bringing over something Avengers-related to the 'Frame games if they entered into any sort of licensed partnership.

I know it's the most popular franchise in the world right now and I'm in the minority, but I was actually sort of heartened when the Avengers game failed. The overexposure of that property needs to stop.

The market needs a good Marvel game though, since the last one died in 2017. And DE could pull it off since they know how to make a game with a large roster and they know how to make smooth super powered action combat. They already show they can make uncomplicated flight and so on aswell, and the weapon types in WF cover most of the concepts we could expect from a Marvel game, from punches to massive weapons and guns, with both regular combo play and heroic take down options. The only thing they would have to avoid is making the same poor balance mistakes as they've done in WF. Doesnt matter if we could wipe the floors with trash, but they could balance such a game so super villains are actually super to match our own super.

And with RJ mechanics etc. they could really pull off some good GotG flavored space missions and so on aswell. Plus, they are good at creating weakpoint mechanics and so on, and have already shown they can pull off good massive robot fights etc. I mean, if anyone has the potential to make an expansive Marvel game that feels true it is DE. Currently most we have are a bunch of SM games, a very limited Avengers dumpster fire and some mobile action and puzzle games. And out of those, only the SM games are really true, but they are sadly also limited to just SM gameplay. I wouldnt mind smashing stuff as Hulk, blast and punch stuff as Carol, unmake things as Wanda, blow something up as Punisher, send robots, rockets and sorcery on badguys as Dr. Doom, blast some faces with Rocket, call down the thunder and bash heads as Thor, or go knife murder rampage with Drax.
